This is a special place. In a quiet location outside of town you feel like you are on top of the world—and you actually are. The view is astounding and we enjoyed sunset every night from the deck and pool playing cards, listening to music and relaxing. Antonis is an amazing host. Welcoming us with wine, cheese and snacks and even waited for us as we were running a bit late. He was incredibly helpful during our stay even helping us to arrange a special dinner at the house. The kitchen is well stocked with any staple you would need, though we never cooked outside of coffee and cheese and crackers. Easily accessible from main roads to get to beaches and the old port, but having a car is recommended. Most evenings we went into the town of Chania via pre-arranged taxis and the drive was less than 10 minutes. We were just 2 couples and the house was huge for us. Can easily accommodate more. We hope to return!

Time of our lives! The villa was perfect, close to downtown Chania yet isolated with breathtaking views. Pictures don’t do justice to this house, we loved it. Fully stocked kitchen with basic food items there for us. Very intimate if you want to spend time outside, listen to music and not bother the neighbors. You need a car if you rent this villa because it’s up a steep hill but with a car, access is no problem. 100% would rent again.

This villa was truly exceptional in terms of space, privacy, amenities, and location. The villa is situated on its own mountain (literally) with just one other villa nearby. It overlooks all of Chania and the sea,and the sunset is like no other I have ever experienced! We didn’t have to buy any kitchen staples, or toilet paper. It came equipped with everything to make you feel at home, including detergent to wash clothes, hairdryer, iron, and everything else you could imagine. With a rental car, you are very close to the old port, which is the place to be in the evenings. Down the road is a supermarket and even a souvlaki joint. The highlight for me of this amazing villa was the exceptional views from all its balconies and the privacy. I will never stay anywhere else but here when I come back to this magical island. Thank you to Antonis and Theodosios for your tips and all your help, including driving me to the airport the day I was departing. Your hospitality will not be forgotten!

Wir hatten in dem Haus wundervolle zwei Wochen. Das Haus ist sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet. Als Willkommen war nicht nur Shampoo und Seife im Bad, sondern auch einen Grundausstattung Getränke und Obst, Kracker, Marmelade, Kaffee, Tee, selbsterzeugtes Olivenöl und Salz.. einfach toll ! Zwei mal pro Woche wurde das Haus gereinigt und wir bekamen neue Handtücher und Bettlaken (bei der Wärme natürlich super). Das ganze Haus ist sehr liebevoll ausgestattet – es sind reichlich Handtücher für Liege und Duschen vorhanden. Ganz viel Platz in den Schränken, die Betten gemütlich, verschiedene Kopfkissen, so dass man nach gusto wählen konnte. Klimaanlage in allen Räumen, aber wir haben einfach mit offener Terassentür geschlafen – da es immer ein bisschen windig ist – war das auch schon gut. Morgens haben wir das Fitnessgerät genutzt und sind dann schon mal in den Pool gesprungen. Da keiner das Grundstück einsehen kann, war das immer schon ein herrlicher Tagesanfang. Die Terrassen sind alle gemütlich und man hat einen tollen Blick rundherum. Obwohl ganz still gelegen, sind es nur 10 Minuten zum Venezianischen Hafen, wo wir natürlich ganz viel waren. Unser Lieblingsstrand (Kalathas) war nur 15 Min. entfernt und trotz Hochsaison nicht sehr voll. Wir sind auch nach Rethimno, zu den Stränden von Balos und Elafonissi gefahren, aber letztendlich kann man sich das alles sparen. In Chania ist es noch am schönsten ! Und in diesem tollen Haus erst Recht !
